About Dr. Keith Warner, MD

Dr. Keith Warner is a triple board-certified physician specializing in general anesthesiology, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, and interventional pain medicine. He founded Olympus Spine and Pain in Salt Lake City, UT with a singular mission: to help patients overcome chronic pain and reclaim their lives through the most advanced, evidence-based pain management strategies available.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Warner graduated from the University of Utah, where he studied in both the School of Business and the College of Science — a foundation that reflects his ability to approach complex medical problems with both analytical precision and strategic thinking. He went on to earn his medical degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2014.

During his medical training, Dr. Warner discovered a passion for the most challenging and high-acuity subspecialties within anesthesiology. Two disciplines stood out above all others: interventional pain medicine and cardiothoracic anesthesiology. He was drawn to the fast-paced, critical thinking these fields demand, and to the profound impact that effective pain management has on patients’ lives.

Advanced Fellowship Training at MD Anderson Cancer Center

After completing his initial fellowship training, Dr. Warner experienced a personal turning point. His father passed away after a courageous battle with cancer — and watching his father’s suffering deepened Dr. Warner’s commitment to helping patients in pain. He applied for and was accepted into a highly competitive second fellowship in interventional pain management at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas — the largest cancer treatment center in the world.

Training at MD Anderson exposed Dr. Warner to patients from across the United States and around the globe, and to pain conditions ranging from the most common to the extraordinarily rare. Under the mentorship of some of the most respected pain management physicians in the world, he developed mastery of state-of-the-art approaches to pain across the full clinical spectrum — from complex cancer pain to refractory neuropathic conditions.
